Vivid

This toadstool was sitting looking unreal beside the road up Glen Massan today - actually just below the fence of Benmore Gardens. It was so red and shiny that it looked as if it were made of painted wood, or even plastic. I felt it should really have had an attendant dwarf, or perhaps a fairy to keep it company, but instead it had the remains of a very much larger one that had met a sticky end.
