Haircut
This morning was traumatic. H had her first ever haircut. My hairdresser Gemma somehow managed to even it up at the back and tidy it up, despite H clinging to me like a limpet and almost crying with fear. She combed it through so it was frizzy, evened it off with scissors, then sprayed it with water and put the curls back in all ringletty, leaving it to dry naturally. It does look much tidier now, but will probably be back to a frizzy ball tomorrow again. G gave her a lollipop, and then I took her to Asda to choose a new toy as a reward - she chose a £1.50 marching baton (what a cheap date she'll be!) We also picked a new book and a Kinder Egg, and something for lunch.
Hubby's mum came to visit us, and as it was another nice day, we had another picnic in the garden. We blew up the big paddling pool and H played in that for a while, but the sun was coming and going and H was getting tired so we eventually came indoors and watched Tangled. I am sure Granny was just getting into it when she had to leave to get her train home.
