Matriculation
Today was taken up by matriculation. We arrived into college just after lunch and had to sit through two hours of talks about health and safety, which wasn't too fun! We then had our matriculation photo which I will hopefully post on here at some point - followed by matriculating itself. Gonville and Caius is the fourth oldest college at the University of Cambridge, but it has a fuller record of its members (extending back to 1348) than any other Oxford or Cambridge Colleges. We therefore had to sign our names and confirm all our course and personal details before they are submitted into the rest of the college's records. It was then time for tea and cake, followed by lots more photos in the college grounds (I have added one as my extra photo - taken from Lillie Grimshaw's facebook).
Now to get ready for classes starting tomorrow!
