Vineyards in Piedmont

We took a drive south from where we are staying with Christina and Alberto. The scenery is superb, different from any that we have seen before in Europe, with vineyards everywhere. The most common grape is Barbera; another is Moscato.   I've added an extra of Cristina's wonderful kitchen.(Both images are merged panoramas--3x and 2x respectively.) 

In the late afternoon we all drove back to Milan (including Maggie, their very sweet beagle).
