Winter Visitors

We enjoyed  walk from Tintwistle to Arnfield Farm above Arnfield Reservoir.

"Not much about"  or so it seemed until eagle-eyed @darkpeakbirder saw 5 swans on the water  - I named those swans as Whoopers Swans, visitors from the Arctic heading South but of course from that distance it was a bit of a guess.

LATE BULLETIN:  Apparently we were just the last to know - it was on Rare Bird Alert hours ago - still it is more fun to find them ourselves.
