Marfaux

A peaceful spot in a beautiful part of the Marne. Hard to believe that this was the site of horrendous warfare a hundred years ago. This is a German cemetery on the edge of the champagne district and a spot I feel drawn to time and time again. I stumbled across it about 15 years ago on my way to Haut Villers and Epernay and now visit every time I am in the area. You should too.
