Who'd a thunk it?
The "substrate", they tell us, is manufactured a mere 20-25 miles away. Can I hellaslike find the exact date they hit the streets, but it took until the middle of last week, and a trip down to Cheshire, before I actually got to handle one; and today before I got to receive one in change.
I had to do a less than usual edit, (other than PhotoShop©) courtesy of the little billet douce in the top right hand.
Still - it was worth the faff to find out it wasn't a photo, it was a "Banknote image".
BTW, that blurry thing, bottom right is an attempt to shoot the wall of "Marcus & Spencius" (See "Carry on Cleo") through the clear part of the note.
