Down the Itchen Valley

Today being very beautiful I walked down a further stretch of the Itchen Way, a section I haven't done before.  So perhaps odd to bring back a blip of one or two dead leaves, but the way the sun had broken through in just this small patch was wonderfully theatrical.

The Extra is perhaps more what you might have expected from walking beside a river.  I really don't have the right lens to capture something as elusive as this properly, but I was thrilled to be able to watch a water vole swimming about and better still to have him in focus!

Now I am exhausted.  Oh dear!  However, when I've made something to eat I will catch up on your journals, lovely people  xx
