Village Green, Autumn

The sun broke through around the middle of the afternoon today, and we took a stroll to the Post Office, noticing on the way that most of the flagpoles that adorned the Village Green throughout the summer have now been taken down - leaving us wondering how long they'd been gone and we hadn't  even noticed.

(I've just checked, and they were still there when I took and posted my 'Frying Nemo' blip on Tuesday of last week!)
