KALEIDOSCOPE
Light years ago friends gave me a kaleidoscope, and although I had been thrilled with it, I did not often look through it. When I entered Blipland (almost six years ago) I soon enough took a photo of what I saw through that magic hole and posted it,
The kaleidoscope stood forlorn in the bookcase, or that is what I thought, but some time ago I brought it with me to our german home and knew I would use it again for an abstract capture and since the subject is free today, I gave it a try.
Not easy at all to bring my camera (with my macro lens) to take a photo, in what direction I held it, or used flash light, a big refusal. In the end I had two captures of which I could use one for the Abstract Thursday Challenge, so wonderfuly hosted by youoregon1 who performs miracles.
In the morning under an overcast sky I did my job in the garden. Since I have a better scheme for the coming three weeks, it feels a lot more relaxed. And that is fine with me.
In the afternoon we walked to the Weser, and walked along the shore halfway to Würgassen. Not many persons around, a pair with a dog, a young woman on a skateboard (a first), and some cyclists too.
