That corner again

I heard a crunching sound and saw that a big orange truck had caught this little food waste bin as it attempted to get round The Corner. The driver managed to detach it from the webbing on the side of his truck but then just drove on round the next corner without attempting to put the lid back on. Turned out the grey bin lid was so warped it wouldn't go back on. Smelly! The flies were getting very excited already. And as he left the square I saw that there was no registration plate on the back of the vehicle. Tut tut. I found it around the corner, though, where he'd stopped to unload; at least there was a registration plate on the front. ;-)
