Sheffield Park Gardens

I've had a lovely day with Kate at Sheffield Park Gardens.  It's the first time I've ever been and was really hoping to see the autumn colours but although there were a few trees on the turn, we were a few weeks too early.

It was really cloudy this morning, but the skies cleared and the sun came out briefly enough to get a few colourful shots.  There are about 5 lakes to walk round and we enjoyed strolling round, chatting, taking photos and finished the day off with lunch in the tea rooms.
