Watch the birdie!

Another hot and sunny day today. Went for a walk early evening after a fairly quiet day.
Spent the morning gardening and later in the day, when I was having a cuppa, the birds came to feed again. We have a family of blackbirds who tend to tidy up the spills from the birdfeeder and a sparrow was sitting on our tin bird. Earlier on one of the young blackbirds was sitting on the fence preening, when a sparrow landed near it, the blackbird soon sent it packing!
