A Day At A Time.

Where The Long Shadows Fall

The sun was already lower in the sky than I was expecting and the shadows increasingly long. It was barely six o'clock.

All around, the harvest is being brought in and this field awaits its turn in silent expectation.

It seems we are rushing headlong towards autumn. My favourite season. The schools go back next week here in Scotland and the children feel cheated of their summer.

But I love autumn best. The colours are wonderful and the weather often better than during the three months before.

A blipper's paradise!

Talking of Paradise, it was a much better day today. A change of face at the top often does this! Top dog again.
