Another tricky choice today...whether to go for the technically better picture of a pied wagtail, or the more exciting blackcap through double-glazing...

I glimpsed this bird a couple of days ago: if I don't get a picture, once I start looking in bird books to identify a bird, I start to worry that I imagined it, so it was a relief and pleasure to see him again today.  He is very keen on fresias, so plenty for him to eat in our garden.

The wagtail was very relaxed as I stopped at the shop, and came towards me: I like the little shadow cast on the car park in the sunshine :)
