Eskdalemuir

Land Rover gearbox back together again (diff lock was sticky, I doubt it has ever been used.) Off to miles of green lanes and forest tracks in the Borders in and around Eskdalemuir. 

Even took my 84 year old mother in law out for lunch in it. She was more than game, although watching her getting in and out had it's amusing moments but not as funny as watching the good lady clambering into the back.

Lunch at the Hub in Eskdalemuir itself. The food was excellent but the service was slow and disorganised which let them down badly. There was even an upcycling class (nothing to do with bikes, all about taking junk and turning it into something useful, well that was the plan).

Weather gorgeous. More land rovering tomorrow (if it starts).
