Why?

No idea.

On the way back from the Borders after a Land Rover thrashing weekend. Paused by this ....stuff....in a field while I tried to work out where all the oil in the sump had gone. Not to worry, had anticipated such a problem.  Wheel ramps to the fore tomorrow ( large plant tray under her tonight ).

Getting it sorted bit by bit, the landy is a money pit at the moment but we are getting there.  Apart from the oil - it goes like a train! Once all the niggles are almost sorted....

On a sadder note I bought a copy of Land Rover Owner International. Jeez - roof tent? winch? huge wheels? what to buy?.....the magazine is 90% articles on how to repair your ailing machine,  8% on what you can buy to make it better and 2% of land rovers that are for sale in perfect condition, needing no work at all.
