Planting for the future

Today volunteers turned out to plant crocus bulbs all over the village. Rotary International has been campaigning for several years to eliminate polio from the world. It is nearly done - only two countries in the world still have this disease. To mark this achievement the local Rotary donated 30,000 purple crocus bulbs to be planted around the village. Here is possibly the youngest volunteer, three year old Ryan, putting all his energy and concentration into the task.
