Swinging high

Foreveryoung dropped off Eden at our house this morning on her way to work. As hubbie had done the early shift, I decided to experiment and take both kids to Ethan's gymnastics class by myself to see if I could cope with them both. Although Ethan is signed up to go every week, they are letting me take Eden as and when I want to as she's still technically a wee bit too young for the class. In the main I managed well with them both although typically they did keep going off in opposite directions all the time!

Once back home, I took them both to our local playpark. It doesn't matter which playpark we go to, it's always the swings which Ethan wants to go on first and before I even get a chance to start pushing him he shouts "higher, higher"!

After Foreveryoung had taken Eden home, hubbie, Ethan and I went out to look at carpets as we're badly needing to change lots of ours. By the time we were finished there, I couldn't be bothered with cooking dinner so we went to the carvery at Bathgate. Eating out is always a bit stressful with Ethan as he has such a short attention span at the table. But I think we must have taken a different child with us tonight by mistake as he was fab! He sat so nicely for the whole meal, ate well and was an absolute delight! In fact he was so good, when he requested one of the huge grown up chocolate brownie ice cream sundaes for pudding, I couldn't say no haha! (Of course it helped that I knew he wouldn't be able to eat it all so I'd get to help polish it off)!
