summer field

We had a relaxed day today, taking our time over getting up and getting on. We did some food shopping and got our bearings. And then we took the mini pinks for a walk up a big Devon hill!! We were in search of a cove, but thought that footpath took us to it. It didn't, it just took us to a better view of the campsite, and this glorious field awaiting the combine. It also took us to tears from the mini pinks, apparently too tired to walk another foot. So I took them back down the hill, where they made a huge recovery and played on the swings and slide in the playbarn!
