Fête de la Châtaigne

It was the annual chestnut festival in the park today (shame I don't like roasted chestnuts) with lots of stalls and refreshments.  The Cobla band entertained (see extra) and everyone seemed very relaxed in the sunshine.  Our village, like most in France, has many festivals (any excuse), the most obscure being the nettle festival the gardening club holds annually.  Afterwards, we had friends round for lunch.  Now it is a quick turn around for the operetta concert in the church.
