Adventure - day one

An early afternoon flight from Gatwick on a Monday isn't perfect if you live north of Birmingham. No way am I brave enough to risk driving down the M42, M40, M25 and M23 overnight on Sunday or Monday morning. I didn't want a Gatwick hotel if possible, so I did a search.
