Adventure - day two

The hotel was stunningly beautiful and in many ways well modernised.

The bed was dramatic and imposing (rather than comfy, though I've known a lot worse).
The huge separate bathroom, just along my own personal minstrel's gallery was posing ultra-modern. A rainfall shower over a huge round bath was luxury (but hazardous to get in and use)

The food was, pricey and an odd mixture. Some of the best fish I've eaten, "cooked to perfection" as they say. But the bread was naff and the chips awful. But what a location.

The gardens are a dream, particularly lovely with the dew and touch of frost.

Off to sample breakfast but I thought I'd blip as the wi fi has returned.

Then heading for Gatwick and on to Catania.
