Barfleur

An excellent day on the Cotentin.

We started off at the Maison du Parc, which is like a Normandy version of Brockholes in Lancashire. All three egrets, spoonbills, and much else.

The extremity of our trip was Barfleur, a pretty village with a pretty harbour. The light was excellent, and has been all day.

Lots more beach walking. There are miles of empty beach.
