Over 100 miles each

The Walking Festival is over. We can hardly believe it.

There was mixed weather for today's long walk, with showers, but sunshine too. We walked from Garigill to Alston via the Nent Valley, about 12.5 miles.

I took the opportunity to photograph the walkers who have been out every day - for the 9 days of the festival. All bar one (Chris on the left of the image) did the long walk. Chris went on the fungal foray last Sunday.  It looks as though they enjoyed themselves. They all walked over 100 miles.

I can hardly keep awake to type this commentary.

Arth and Aggie have had a good week which is very good news.

I suspect I may be stiff tomorrow.........
