The Institute of Cancer Research

To the Marsden today for a session on diet and exercise. The basic message was "eat less and do more exercise". I understand all the theory, it's the practice that is more tricky. Anyway, the presentations were held in a lecture theatre in the Institute of Cancer Research building. I quite like this view of a banner with the people sitting behind. My second photo is of a poster which reads: "Your neighbour is a world leader in cancer research". I sent this to Penny in Guangzhou who replied: "I'm not sure this is correct...my neighbour is a Chinese lady with too many children and the other is a fellow teacher"!! Perhaps they weren't expecting visitors at the ICR?
