Birmingham

We're exhibiting at a conference tomorrow, so the Minx and my colleague, Paul, and I all headed south by car this afternoon so that we could be there first thing in the morning. 

We had a minor palaver finding the place where we were staying - which was actually the same place I attended the Kraftwerk conference early last year - but then we headed out for something to eat. Unlike last year when I ended up frustrated in my efforts to find somewhere decent to eat, the Minx had characteristically planned ahead and booked us a table at Nosh and Quaff, which was a taxi ride away into a rather nice part of Birmingham.

Not that we spent much time sightseeing; it was dark and we were all hungry!
