Lost Swan

Drove over to Vellator this afternoon, for a walk along the river Caen. The tide was out, but there were a couple of egrets fishing. Then this young swan came in following the grownups.  It must have run out of energy as he fell short of the target, the rest of the family made for the lake.
It sat there in the water calling to be reunited for about 15 mins before a pair of adults appeared to encourage it to make the effort, which it did to be reunited with the rest of the family. :-)
