Morning talk

This morning I gave a talk on 'Some favourite gardens' at Lauriston Castle in Edinburgh. Part of the 'Edinburgh Museums & Galleries', the castle hosts events and talks on a regular basis. There was an audience of about 20 people, two being men!

I hope they enjoyed it, as that was the purpose of my weekend in Edinburgh. They were offering a tour of the castle, which has a wonderful  collection of furniture, Sheffield plate and numerous other things, but I couldn't really stay for that.

A good weekend all round and we were back in Oban by 5.30 this afternoon.
