Big HOT Day

The intense heat that has been happening here since we arrived home from vacation this past Monday is beginning to get very tiring. The thermometer stayed at 100 degrees for hours today, and for several nights we have not turned off the air-conditioner because the outside air is just not cooling down. So somewhere between 3:00 and 5:00 a.m. we wake and turn it off and open windows to let a cool breeze bring in some fresh air.

Because of the heat we did very little today, after church we went to get lunch, then stopped at a couple stores, and came back home. All afternoon and evening we've watched the last of the Olympics; highlights of the Olympics, and the closing ceremony. We have thoroughly enjoying watching the Olympics each evening.

A summer heat-wave Sunday is the definition of this day.
