Blizzard of birds

Gale force winds around the Cape of Good Hope sent a vast number of sea birds aloft. In the lee of the mountains the sea was flat and in  our later visit to Simon's Town and the nearby Boulders Rockhopper Penguin colony we found hot temperatures. The penguins have migrated here in very large numbers are well established and completely unruffled by the close proximity of tourists. ( see extra)
