Ward Thomas

A terrific gig at Oran Mor (Glasgow's West End)tonight. The Hampshire twins that are Lizzy and Catherine Ward Thomas are for me 'the next big thing' in terms of country-pop music.

They are great musicians and their vocal harmonies simply sublime.

The small venue, probably best described as intimate, was packed and it was good mixed crowd of old and young.

A simple performance from the girls, with no frippary backed by a superb 4-piece band.

Loved it!
