Devices. Disaster.

As I mentioned yesterday, it's not been a good week.

First our newish shower unit exhibits signs of thermostat problems and that diagnosis was confirmed on Wednesday. 

It turns out to be expensive to fix - almost same price as a new unit.

So, that's device No 2 gubbed - still waiting on my energy smart monitor to be replaced/fixed from last week. (the seven day period, surprise, surprise has made no difference!)

And device No 3 that has now been sent to electronic heaven is our washing machine.

It suddenly stopped working this afternoon with a full load still within.

It's now been drained and the fault is clear - F11.

F11? Aye, F11.

Motor is k-n-a-c-k-e-r-e-d. Kaput. Finished. 

And like the shower, the repair costs are simply uneconomical, plus impractical given it's part of an integrated unit. And both are out of warranty.

Great!

With three lads who can't seem to wear anything for more than 3 hours without the need to be washed, we have a challenge indeed.

All this means a morning off work tomorrow (unpaid) to try and get things moving with everything that needs done.

As I said, at least the TV works .... (for now) ......
