The light penetrates
Another glorious morning in southern Staffordshire. I took a walk down Chillington Avenue, now a thick belt of trees that runs from Coven to Chillington Hall. The sun only penetrates in a couple of places in the early morning. I just love the way it has illuminated the opening here, lighting the floor, carpeted in fallen leaves.
Technical: Unusually this is a straight shot, processed in Lightroom, using the basic sliders available. I also took a series of shots to create and HDR image (5 shots, 1 stop apart). It was processed in HDR Efex Pro but on comparison of the two I preferred the single shot. I've added the HDR to extras so you can compare the two, if you want.
