Leaf Fall
Watching the leaves change colour at this time of year in the northern hemisphere is always a bittersweet experience. I love the colours; I regret the shortening of daylight hours, with long dark nights and colder conditions.
I think we are quite fortunate where we live, not only are we on the edge of the countryside, but the estate was designed to take advantage of the existing footpaths, mature trees, hedges and lanes that crossed the farmland it was built on. So we have this lovely track running between two areas of housing, causing a tunnel effect with the trees. I decided to get a worm's eye view, widening the aperture to throw much of the scene out of focus.
