Preparations

This weekend is the ever popular Wartime Weekend in Pickering. Preparations are well underway with windows being taped, charity shops displaying wartime memorabilia and outfits and signs being erected.

People are already arriving for the start on Friday. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Lots of blip opportunities.

All trains carry a lamp and here it is being transferred to the rear of the engine for the journey back to Grosmont.
