Corfu Sunrise

We were up at 7am for an early breakfast to travel back to Corfu airport for our midday flight back to Bristol. On leaving about 8am there was a lovely sunrise over the hotel church looking across to the Albania coastline. It was nice to see but a shame it wasn't the last couple of days where it's been thunder and lightning!

It was a smooth flight back and only an hour drive home on landing, which makes a nice change for us as it's often 3 to 4 hours.

I'm back on call tomorrow but have booked Friday night off to go to the Cardiff City v Bristol City severnside derby match. We've a new manager, Neil Warnock, and the place should be rocking. He wants promotion - a big call as we're currently almost bottom of the league!
