Old Olive

We have safely arrived in Pollenca. The journey went well, although storm clouds over the mountains made our descent a little bumpy.

Our hotel is an old monastery and is really beautiful - everywhere I look it is full of character and history and photographic opportunities (exciting!). In the central courtyard there is a very large and very old olive press.

Before dinner we had a short walk - the countryside around the hotel is filled with vines, olive, lemon and orange trees. The roots of this old olive tree have undermined this wall, it's stones now cascading down.
