Now, as I see it......

Whales

Wow. That was quite a day. We went out whale watching on a boat from Provincetown. We hoped we'd at least see a couple of whales but we really weren't prepared for what we actually saw. We spent about an hour surrounded by mainly Humpback whales but also a couple of Minkes. The whales were actively feeding so we would see bubbles rising to the surface as the whales coralled the fish, followed by up to six of them breaking water as they fed. We saw them breaching, we saw a mother and calf, and we saw them up close and personal next to the boat. An amazing day which far exceeded our expectations.

My main shot is of a tail but I've added an extra of a whale's mouth collecting fish in which the Baleen plates can be seen.
