London 2012 Day 2

Not that I actually went out the door today - far too much Olympics to be watched, but when it rained it rained, so here's a picture out the front door of rain. Probably better than another picture of the TV that's filling my life at present.

News from inside the TV: Britain gets its first medal, a silver courtesy of Lizzie Armitstead in the women's cycling road race. The lady I share a birthday with (slightly different year), Rebecca Adlington got a bronze in the 400m freestyle. While Mrs L cheered on Andy Murray to win his first-round match against Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka, while a superb routine from Beth Tweddle sees her top qualifying for the uneven bars final with the team qualifying fifth.
