Hon in Edinburgh

We spent another quiet day at Oswestry, this time to recover from the Thomas the Tank Engine ordeal. We had a rather surreal start when a bloke in a 'Bananaman' costume stopped so I could take his picture. The rest of the day couldn't match that as we wandered around Bailey Head, visiting the rennovated market and the museum at the council building. I had thought I must have been really unobservant to have missed the museum after all this time, but then was told it was only opened in March of this year. The guide inside said it's only recently that Oswestry has made an effort to promote its history, and is far behind Scotland in that regards.

This chap said he has been working in the market for over 20 years, selling his watercolour paintings. I tried some shots of him at work, but prefer this one with the eye contact.
