Poppy

Went for a lovely stroll this morning and was very surprised to find poppies still blossoming on the river bank. The wind was blowing and the flowers were being battered but looked wonderful and bright among the drying grasses.  I desaturated this one to give it a more pastel shade.
We saw some pretty goldfinches too - but the dogs being walked by others saw them off.  I managed one shot - see extras - and loved the one on the left that looks like it is hopping!
