Fremlin Pond

The volunteers clear the brambles, make steps and hack out bamboo . The paid staff get the horrid job of  wading into the smelly pond to remove the parrot weed.   Both the parrot weed and the bamboo have probably been introduced by locals who did not want them in their gardens and thought they would enhance this small public open space.
