Shouldering The Burden

I was wondering where these girls were going with their boat and a bicycle. There are no boat houses this side of the river and nowhere to launch it as there are railings and nose to tail moored houseboats. One pair of blades indicate a single rower and the trainers usually ride bicycles along the towpath yelling out instructions, normally through a megaphone. Perhaps it sprung a leak and she had to leave the water in a hurry or perhaps Mr Asbo the aggressive swan attacked her. A mystery.
