All that glitters is not gold

I have never taken much notice of flowers close up until now when I took this one of a sunflower in my wife,s vase. Not only did I not notice how intricate they are close up but this one looks happy. Will have to look more closely at every flower in future.

There is some sparkly bits in the middle and I though that I had found a new source of gold but all I have been left with is very sticky fingers!!.

Reminds me of Bill and Ben the Flowerpot men
