Glass Fire/Flame Wall
This work of art is 20 feet high, this picture does not reflect the actual size of the piece. It is made up of individual multicoloured glass 'flames' that are each about 12 inches tall. Up close and in sunlight it is spectacular. It is on a lobby wall in the Toronto financial district. We often walk past it on our way in to work very early morning, this time i made a point of going inside and photographing. Extremely busy day at work today but we were able to sneak out for an amazing lunch with our photographer JR from our July non profit photo shoot. I presented her with a signed 2017 calendar of the 12 ambassadors (i am April!). She presented me with 6 enlarged photos on mats and ready for framing! They are stunning, and all appear in the calendar (i will blip one day). She has the kindest heart ever, she donated her time and skill and we are so happy to have met her. We discussed our plans to all eventually end up back in BC lower mainland area and plan on reconnecting there.
