Wednesday: Capuccino Bar

We keep on having severe weather warnings but, as yet, nothing has happened beyond some rain.

This evening we met up with some friends of friends - a friend of K's in the UK put us in touch with some friends of hers who live here.  They are both teachers, H is from Liverpool but moved here about 11 years ago, her partner J is from Vancouver.  We met up for something to eat on Commercial Drive - it was a very pleasant evening.

Bob Dylan was an absolutely inspired choice for the Nobel Prize for Literature.  Fully deserved, in my opinion, although Haruki Murakami just keeps on being disappointed.........
