Friday: Rocky Raccoon

If you live in this part of the world, these are probably common place.  But to us, raccoons are endlessly novel and fascinating.  We have only started seeing them around in the last fortnight or so - this one was spotted when we were downtown this evening.  I'd expect to see them in the suburbs, not in the heart of the city.

We were downtown to go for dinner.  I had sat next to T at an official dinner last week and we got on pretty well.  He had then suggested meeting up for a more casual dinner at 'Brix and Mortar', with his K. and my K. - it was a lovely initiative and a nice evening.  I did have the biggest chop in the world, though.
