Another step!

Today I was taught how to fit sheet cane into the back and seat of this chair. A bit scary at times, when you trim the excess material before gluing and banging in the beading. This needs considerable strength and an expert like G who is used to giving it a bit of welly!!! The chair will be reassembled next week and checked to see what extra polishing is required.

Both the seat and back have been done as although the back cane looked intact the frame was broken.

Update on the wedding do yesterday evening. We had a fantastic time and danced to a great group. (yes R, your Father danced!!!) We got home to see the last half hour of the Olympic closing ceremony. Hopefully we have recorded it and can watch it later this evening!!
