Palapa ReRoof - Day 1

I returned from my market trip this morning to find our pool palapa roof being ripped apart. A crew of six were hard at work tearing off the old fronds in preparation of a complete reroof. This is no small feat as our palapa is at least 10 meters tall and with a diameter of twice that at the base. Regardless of the size all the fronds were removed, from both the roof and the ground where they were thrown, by 15:00. Expect a series of photos over the next few days documenting the new roof's installation.
